Oly style training guides?

I'm interested in learning some of that. Even just picking up some solid form for the "power" versions of oly lifts would be a decent start.

Any particularly good videos, Youtube channels, books, PDFs, etc., that are perfect for the total novice?

Hope this is the right forum...

I'd really recommend a coach
With powerlifting you can kinda wing it
With the power variations of the olympic lifts they are fairly easy as well
but the full versions are very hard and very technical

I don't really agree Oni.

I learnt the full versions first.

I learnt the clean using a medicine ball. Practiced holding it, dropping to squat and catching it with elbows up. And I learnt the snatch using a pvc pipe - started in overhead squat and work backwards. Definitely recommend a coach for this.

Once people understand they shouldnt lift the weight but rather get under it, it all starts to click. After that, the power versions are just less weight than the squat versions.

Fairly simple to learn, but take a lifetime to master :)

If I recall correctly, Greg Everrett wrote a good book for teaching the lifts. I think Pendlay said Everrett's book was the next best thing to having a good coach.
