Ok thanks. Which trainers did you get?
If you vary up to 3 notches there is something funny going on.
Do you eat your weeks worth of food on a Monday then starve yourself for the rest of the week or something
Ok, so I've been a very good boy at work and have earned myself a $500 bonus (woo yay).
I'd like to spend it on some gym equipment but don't know which shops are good. I'd rather buy Australian than get it from Amazon but don't mind going to Amazon for some of the harder items.
Preferably, I will be able to buy and use vouchers for these shops. This is for tax purposes. I really don't want the government to rob 50% of my bonus in tax, however if my work gives me vouchers... no tax!
Anyway, I need the following items:
13mm leather belt
Wrist wraps
Knee wraps
Adidas Powerlift trainer
Chuck Taylor Lo-tops (black canvas)
~1lb of gym chalk in blocks
And then whatever's left over I'll probably buy some adjustable dumbbells + small plates, a dumbbell bench or anything suitable for a home garage gym.
Cheers
I have the old ones which have been phased out from Underground Elite, but if I was to buy again i would probably get these:
Underground Elite :: Weightlifting Gear :: Weightlifting Shoes :: UGE Weightlifting Shoes
Running with the power-lifters now?
i have a lever belt and have only needed to tighten it once since i lost a little bf.Nothing funny going on hamburg just natural fluctuations in weight, time of day and clothes I'm wearing when lifting.
well what u got so far?OK I PM'd fuzzy about my needs, hope he gets back soon. Still have another $250 I can spend though lol
Any suggestions?

+1Save your money.
Save your money.
if your building a garage gym put it towards something useful like kettlebells or extra weights
I think kettlebells are one of the least useful things you can buy. They are very limited and way down on the list of things I would get.
Save for a good bar, rack and weights.
I completely dissagree.
KB are one of the most versatile training tools around.
I can fix people's squats. I can fix peoples deadlifts. I can improve somebodys cardio fitness. I can punish people with them. I can train groups with them.
KBs are awesome.
Oni - I'd get some vouchers for the butchers. You already have more stuff than you are ready for, spent the rest on food/supps/hookers.
ohhhh the dreaded KB... when i used to train at PTC frankston, markos had me feeling sick many times with his stupid UDL's lol but yes, they would probably be the most versatile piece's of equipment u could get.I completely dissagree.
