my body is really annoying me

Well I got a bill for all 7 last time, it's was like $150, and it ended up getting bulk billed anyway.
The only new ones that WONT be rebated, are the t3, rt3 and t4. If I get diagnosed with a thyroid disorder, they will be bulk billed from now on. I just have to look up what is "normal range" for the 3, so I have the knowledge on hand before I see the GP on tuesday.
If it comes back positive, I would be happy to pay 5k. At least I'd be going in the right direction now. If it costs me $500 and it comes back negative, I'll be dissapointed, but at least I'll have the satisfaction of actively trying to fix myself.

If the doctor gets up me, I'll just say I didn't think it would be an issue. And why should I have to pay to come see you again, just to get a request form on something you should have done the first time round.

I agree with you 100% Just say you told the pathology you were going to pay for them..

Also range is not relevent with thyroid you can be in range and still have problems with most things..

For example the range for ACTH is like <10 meaning 0 is an acceptable number...

However once you get results you can send them to me or take them to my Dr and he will sort you out.

Good luck

I just talked to my mum noobs, guess what....

.... She has hyperthyroidism. So does her mum, and so does her mum. Not sure about any of the guys, they have all passed.

Fingers crossed.

I think if you were hypo you would possibly have more symptoms especially in regard to body fat! Your skinny as shit..

Buteverything needs to be looked at i know.. Remember the mind controls the brain and the brain controls your whole body! Be positive my friend..

Yeh im positive, and hyper causes weight loss or in my case, no weight gain.
If I do have hyper, that means it could be causing or at least contributing to my heart problems.
Fix thyroid, fix heart. Thats what im hoping for.

One less problem in the box.

A girl at my work has hyperthyroidism, i belive it has caused a slight heart disturbance. But she is stupid enough to drink a few redbulls a day even though she has had to go to the ER due to very elevated heart rates. The drugs she uses are a bit iffy, getting dosages right takes a while and will screw with you.

2nd dumbest thing i have heard today.. I cant bleieve how stupid somepeople are really is it anywonder we have so many preoblems?

I agree.
I consume no alcohol.
I consume no caffiene.
Both affect/contribute to heart palpatations, plus many more.
I was taking metoprolol, a beta blocker, at 150mg a day.
I don't anymore, by choice. They make me feel like absolute shit.

But.

Since cutting out caffine, alcohol and changing my diet to orgainic and raw, my heart feels ALOT better. I can hardly feel it beating anymore :)

Did I mention she gets thrashed every weekend and eat like shit? I feel sorry for her as she is a nice girl just really dumb and brought up by a bipolar mum who tries to get her daughter to come get trashed with her each weekend. I just tell her off any time I see it.

Dammit;
TSH: 1.9 (.3-5.0) up from 1.4 last test
Free T3 4.4 (2.6-6.0)
Free T4 16.1 (9.0-19.0)

Doc says no hyperthyroidism :(. Back to the drawing board.

SHBG is also up;
39pmol/L up from 29pmol/L

fsh was 7, now 8 (<10)
lh was 4, now 6 (<9)
oestradiol was 71, now 108 (55-165)

The rest went untested as I must have put the letters in the wrong order :p

Those small jumps are fine and natural as alotof the hormones are pulsitive and its hard to catch them at the right time..

With your Lh and Fsh increasing but test staying low i would look at your nuts for problems.. My Lh and FSH are about 1.7

Your tsh is also fine. Mine was 2.6 and now about 1.4

Have you had an ultrasoundordered i cant remember? Did you have varicose veins down there?

Memory is terrible lately..

Yes to all of the above.
Ultra sound (ive had 2, plus penty of checks - by females) came back fine, just the varicose veins.

Everything was bulk billed including T3 and T4, except RT3. All up the bill was $50. Stoked!

I'm going for bloods now, requested by Dr. Zenter.
Fsh, lh, prolactin, e2, test, shbg, insulin, fbc, diff esr, ferritian, fe, chol/tg/ldl/hdl, u/ecr, lft, fbsl, tsh.

Biggest blood test ever for me hahaha.

Your in good hands no my friend...

So I saw the doctor today.
Turn out my test is low. Estrogen is high.
My fsh and lh are telling my nuts to produce testosterone, but it's not happening.
Somethings wrong with my nuts.
I've got testogel and arimidex. Also supplementing with zinc and magnezium.
Finally, first step forward.

Your welcome my friend,

Its like that the first few times, you get used to it though ... then you enjoy it lol.

Couple of hints.

Buy some freezer bags. And use it like a glove otherwise you loose too much down the sink washing hands, made it a big difference for me.
Too much arimidex is worse then not enough sometimes.
Wait a while for it to dry unless you want boxers stuck to your nuts.

I have a couple more things for you to look into.

www.biobran.org
www.ipraxic.org

Let me know if you need anything else.

And post labs i you are willing or pm them to me so i can see how everything is going.

Glad you feel like things are moving forward.

Christian
