is steaming vegetable better than boiling?

The man had a question...... Thats what the forum is for. We have now lernt - thanks to Fadi - that steaming your broccoli is much better for you than boiling it.

Fadi, I guess that means I should scrap jucing broccoli?

Right you are Sir. Steaming or stir frying where the juices are still intact is best. No way would I juice broccoli. While we on juicing Sticky, I'm going to give you a small tip that has a big effect when juicing carrots.

Add a teaspoon of fat (or just take a teaspoonful of good fat) like organic butter (I just bought some tonight from Woollies made right here in Australia and is called True Organic || Organic Dairy, Organic Milk, Organic Butter, Organic Cheese.) I just love people who care about about the health and wellbeing of other people! Any way, by adding this fat from either butter, good Aussie macadamia oil, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, or even good old unrefined in any way mighty coconut fat; you Sir would now be in a position to absorb the beta-carotene that is carried within those carrots you just juiced. Nutrients in carrots are better absorbed when cooked, however because we're after the live enzymes and all the other goodies, we add a small amount of fat which as I've said, would help us absorb the main ingredient in carrots that is beta-carotene.

Fadi.
