Finally those stupid selectors made a brave decision.
 
I favour the Sri Lankans, although the Indians's do have great depth Lozzo.

Don't write off the South African's yet although they lack depth in their batting as was shown over the weekend.
 
They've sent Dirk Nannes over as a standby as well. Good move. I always thought he's not a bad bowler, def better than Clint McKay who I've never been a huge fan of.

I reckon the batsmen were told not to slog and the bowlers were told they each had to make it through their overs. It was just a training match, not one they were worried about setting the world on fire with.
 
What is the value of Smith in the aussie team? Is he there to make Clarke look good? The commentators praise him at every turn but he just looks like he takes a lofty swing and hopes for the best. They call him innovative but didnt we all do that in junior cricket. Yet to be dazzled.

Mate, his developing, if the selectors keep ditching the young guys that has showed potential in the team, their not going to go anywhere, seriously. His a good all round cricketer, fields exceptionally well and can handle the bat and bowl both pretty well, give him some time.
 
Patrick Cummins, this fella should get the nod pretty soon, quick bowler from NSW bowling near 150 clicks @ 17 years of age.
