CoD vs Halo

Can you play it first person, cos the controls looked weird, also avalible on Pc?

Haven't played Skyrim in a bit over a week, kinda missing it. Its deffinatly about the 'immersion' and 'depth' of the game, not the combat lol.

Hey admin, shrek, could you please change the title of this thread to Video Game Thread

thanks

I was so hooked on Halo 3 about a year and a half ago when i wasn't working, ended up getting a level 50 in 3 playlists (team doubles, Slayer & Swat) such a good game but very addictive! My account was called Rockettttt almost perfect exp/ game ratio with only ranked games. ( I was such a nerd ) lol

Then I bought a PS3 an started playing COD... It's a good game but I still definitely prefer H3.. only reason I don't play halo any more is because after playing PS for ages i was sooo bad at it and being so competitive, getting owned by noobs pissed me off haha!

haven't played either for a while now... although I wouldn't mind getting H4 when it comes out, hopefully it will just be an update to H3 because if it's anything like reach I wont get it!!

COD <3 but haven't played it in a while as I don't currently have internet set up in my house so I've been addicted to Skyrim in the mean time but have had major lag issues up until the most recent update.

For the COD lovers I'd suggest giving Battlefield 3 a go! I'ts hard to get used to but gameplay is so much better than any other first person shooter.

Never heard of Dark Souls though :s

Pretty much agree with everything you've said there, in fact you sound exactly like me lol. H3 pisses all over COD, but once you swap it is hard to swap back.

There is like an initial grind where you are pretty shit until you pick up the skills and the maps and start owning everyone. After that 'investment', it is hard to justify swapping back.

I wouldn't mind getting H4 either. I've got a PS3 now though, so not sure if I would get a 360 just to buy it...

Btw, I've traded Skyrim in for Fallout 3 GOTY edition.

Once you've maxed enchanting and smithing in Skyrim, the game is brokenly easy. It is ridiculous. Really quite disappointed, the game had so much potential, but they fucked up the balance so badly. In these sorts of games, you are meant to have to specialise to stand a chance (ie focus on combat skills, or stealth skills, or magic skills). In this, you can specialise in ALL of them, that is how brokenly easy it is.

I was going to restart the game, but I just CBF, knowing how easy it will eventually be.

So yeah, disappointing, but I hear Fallout 3 is pretty damn good. And it was an even money trade in, so it didn't cost me anything to swap. And considering the GOTY edition comes with all 5 expansion packs, it seems like decent value to me. Especially if Fallout 3 has replay value.

Nerd!

so i bought topsin 4 the other day for $11, usually about $50 in store. Then i recieve another copy of the game a week later, for free? lol wtf.

Im trying to sell it but no one is responding back

Picking up a 360 next weekend so ill be able to join in on this more then. Just hoping l dont turn into a nerd burger 3000 like l did when i first got my PS2.

(CoD) Modern Warfare 1, 2 and 3 all the way. Can't get into sci-fi stuff, but if I was to try another FPS it would probably be a Halo.

Still can't finish Black Ops 1 - much prefer Activision/Infinity Ward Modern Warfare!
