For me it stems back to his days when caoching St Kilda, the way he generally or used to coach was as defensive and flooding as one could get, to watch a game of footy that he was a part of was disgraceful and painful to watch, was more interested in shutting the other teams down then scroing himself, and this was when St Kilda had a decent forward line....

It has seem to have changed this year since coaching Freo and is mor attacking, but still cant stand him, not to mention his personality comes across as completely laking. I had some inside knowledge of the working of St Kilda when he was there and apparently most liked him as a coach but no-one or very few liked him as a person or got on with him, very difficult person in general.

I think if he wasn't coaching Freo i would actually be barracking for them this weekend....
 
Well deserved flag for the Hawks.

Freo had stage fright early but credit to them for rallying in the 3rd. Was a good 2nd half of footy.

Was Ballantyne's performance the worst GF performance in history?

All good and well to be a lippy little pest, but if you can't put it up when it counts what's the point?

Surely he can't keep sledging and niggling blokes now. He's cannon fodder.

Just gotta teach some of them to kick straight and pass when you have a bloke all alone in the square instead of having pot shots outside 50.

I think it could be on par with Milne's effort in the 2009 GF, everything he touched turned to shit.....
 
Don't have Foxtel and these pre season games are a bit of a joke, but I did hear Geelong v Collingwood was a good game.

Not really interested in the footy just yet.....
