Currently squatting ~125 and deadlifting ~165, and I honestly have no idea when a belt would be necessary... if ever! :)
TIA.
edit: Maybe this should go in...

I've decided that it's high time I quit squatting in runners and invest in some proper weightlifting shoes...but, I don't know where to go in the Brisbane area to find a pair that fits. Sure, I could just order a pair online and have them delivered, but I wouldn't know if they're the right size...

Hey Guys,
Thought id post up here seems though lots of you guys may have helped with the clean up etc. I left my RISTO blue leather weightlifting shoes at the venue. They are blue with pink shoe laces and would have been in a risto sport small bag. They are size 7 so no good to most people...
I was thinking about it the other day, and in a RAW lifting comp, are you allowed to use lifting shoes? If they do help balance you out better and people can lift more with them, isn't it giving you an unfair advantage?
I'm not looking to start a fight, more of a discussion
Cheers, Morgan.
For the guys chasing me for weightlifting shoes.
The Do Win shoes are in stock at PTC.
Rick has given me his stock to sell direct from PTC to save people travelling into town.
They are $130.

Hi all,
On the advice of my fitness instructor I went and bought some new running shoes. She recommended I go to Athletes Foot. I went to Athletes Foot and got fitted for some Adidas Sequence Two runners. I bought them for $200.
Now I find I could have gotten them for $100 from Foot Locker or...
might seem like a dump question but
I am wondering why the clipless shoes and pedal combo are indeed called "clipless" when in fact they DO clip.
Shouldn't they be called 'clip' or 'clipped' instead of "clipLESS"?
