    Anyone tried the Caveman diet?

Yeah it's easy to search pubmed and browse for crap studies that appear to back up an argument: Effects of every-other-day feeding on prolactin re... [Exp Biol Med (Maywood). 2008] - PubMed result " after one day of fasting...very high hGH plasma concentrations" Energy expenditure has nothing...

    Anyone tried the Caveman diet?

So you are saying they are the same? You might think it's bs if you know nothing about it. Your body isn't a bomb calorimeter. Fasting affects: Insulin Free fatty acids (fat metabolism) Amino acid movement (muscle metabolism) Hormone release (i.e. epinephrine, HGH) etc... You can regulate...

    Anyone tried the Caveman diet?

The OP said he didn't want to eat meals during the day and only wanted to snack (caveman diet). The warrior diet only differs in that it cuts out the snacking and allows more food choices. I eat mostly one meal per day (as per the warrior diet) and eat foods very similar to the caveman diet...

    Anyone tried the Caveman diet?

Isn't the warrior diet the same thing (1 meal a day)? There's just no restrictions on what you eat.

    Anyone tried the Caveman diet?

What I'm doing is close to this, but I don't snack during the day and I eat a lot the day after training (I don't fast that day). I eat pretty much the same food, (no grains, dairy, tubers, legumes, nightshades, sugar, salt). It doesn't reduce muscle mass.

Post up what you are eating

Yeah I'm getting 16+ hours of fasting 2 out of 3 days. I eat a wide variety of meals. The only real standard is steak for training day (I just love to demolish t-bones after a workout!). I eat a bit of fruit and veg, but not a lot.

Not really. I've never been one for breakfast, and the low carb diet means I'm not always hungry.

advice - critic me and my ketosis way

Long term ketosis is fine. I've been in ketosis almost permanently for the last few years and I have had better gains than ever before. You can't do it AND try to lose weight by caloric restriction; do one or the other. I'd suggest you eat more fat to fuel your ketosis and energy needs. I eat...

Hi [you] and welcome to ausbb

I have heavily researched diet and nutrition for more than 6 years and my diet has evolved along with what I learned. It's a bit hard to put into 100 words or less, but basically I eat a lot of meat, some veg and nuts and a little bit of fruit. I posted a rough eating schedule in the Post up...

    Bands and Chains

Decent size chain is ridiculously expensive. Try to get some second hand chain that is being thrown out. You can try shipyards, boat clubs, drillers, crane operators or any other business that uses big chain and turns it over. It will be rusty, but much cheaper. I scammed 70kg+ that work was...

    Protein powder on specific diet

Your diet sounds like mine. I simply eat a lot of meat. I don't take any supplements. If I'm not eating enough meat, it's because I haven't worked out hard enough or I have eaten too much fruit/veg.
