Made another batch last night, they seemed to come out much better than the first.
I went pretty much by the recipe:
8 scoops whey protein (unflavoured) - using my old ON scoop
1 cup oats
3 tbs of cocoa
1/3 cup peanut butter (microwave to melt it a bit)
3 tbs of honey (generous tbs)
~1/2 cup...
Having your shakes in milk slows the digestion, and therefore protein absorption.
I tend to have my PWO shake in water, but a night shake with milk.
Having said that... they taste much better in milk, lol.
I work in I.T. Support and am pretty much over it. Pay isn't too bad for now, but on the path of a career change.

Yeah i thought i had put too much milk in while i was making it, added a bit more powder n oats to compensate, but obviously not enough.
Ah well, the first batch is a good learning curve :)

Just made a batch over the weekend. Unfortunately they are a bit on the gooey side, so i tend to be eating them with a spoon, haha.
Will be making another batch this weekend, hopefully next one will turn out a bit better.
Agreed, i've got the Commercial one, i believe without weights its 200kg. Its very solid, and with another couple hundred kilos of plates on the tree, it aint going anywhere!

It sucks, but unfortunately a lot of young blokes will have that attitude towards many women trainers, or bloke trainers who aren't huge themselves.
At the end of the day, they're the ones missing out.
Do the delts get used to holding up the weight?
Gave these a go on Monday. Only attempted 40kg, but the weight didn't feel comfortable sitting on the delts.
