nah, hand on heart id never take em if i compete in the IPF Boss.I prefer to lift naturally, even if its only super slow doing it this way.Pretty obvious im natty.

Hey Sparts, what am I paying for a place? Might put a bit of chance on an each way bet....got a couple of tactics up my sleeve to nudge out toona ;)
Not sure about a podium finish once the big boys roll in though

the las vegas bookie only takes win only bets on this one.

just think pbs, and the trophies may eventually come.

however, there is a rumour klokov will soon enter to knock von of his mantle.

Here's 100kg at 99.8.

A grind and every bit as wobbly as that other old ****.

Had warmed up with a few sets of 5 on 150kg bench press.

This puts my OHP at about 60% of my current maximum paused bench.

Tried a push press with 120kg but it didn't lock out. Stupid thing to do.

when is big mouth (Gerry) going to have a go. his chance to get one back at me.

Gerry does big press poundages in training; but he prefers to limit himself to elite PA comps. good on you gary.

nice attempt at a set up,im aware my totals no where near elite, but yeah i prefer to save my efforts for official events.then i got something to show for it.i could injure myself doing this particular type of lift.my shoulders arent great.thanks for the invite anyway.

See. You can handle light hearted ribbing haha.

Im the same mate. Though after im done with my next comp overhead pressing will feature again in my training block. Im thinking 80 should go up now without much effort tbh. Hopefully closer to 85-86 by years end.

Karaks the best comp bencher here by miles and if u follow his log,he does no heavy overhead pressing its all pause benching.Id rather focus on what will increase my total.even what im doing now isnt really helping,i just wanted to experiment.im only pressing at the moment because i wanted to do something different.

it will probably help you. :)

Karak is on another level i know. Massive numbers eh.

But it IS good to get away from the competition lift here and there. I dont mean for years...but if the next competition is 6 months away it can actually help you become more sensitive to further gains on that comp lift by training something esle for a short while.

im pretty sure just repping tngs hasnt done a thing except make my torso a bit thicker.Heavier weights still feel heavy. However ill still do it for a while so im not jumping to premature conclusions but my empirical evidence suggests for me im better off to train a tad heavier.I just cant handle pause benching all the time thats all.i get bored just doing squat bench dead rinse lather repeat.
So i understand the need to change it up...but man..i reckon military pressing is too far removed,is there enough carryover to pay the price of the time invested?but im happy to be proved wrong here.
Mate not being rude but these ausbb comps probably wont help you become a better powerlifter.u may hit a 85 kg press but still be a 130 kg bencher.lol wats the point of that?
Also we all like the idea of being good at everything.however you end up not being good at anything...lols.
