Just another day at Fitness First. PTs getting clients to do ridiculously useless stuff.

I think sometimes that's their ploy, they practice these exercises which belong in a circus act and they try to get their clients to do them, telling em if they train with them they too will be able to achieve this.......little do 99% of their clients realise how completely and utterly useless these exercises actually are.
 
Anyone seen the inverted pullup before? Saw some guy do it today, toes to bar on the monkey handles then proceeded to do pullups... Only knocked out 5 then walked out like a boss

The reason for the towel is probably due to inexperience, they have the bar too high on their back and it is putting pressure on the C7 cervical vertabra ( the bone that sticks out at the base of your neck).
