Dunno if this 1.5xbw has any validity? 1.5x for me is 156kg. For 0ni it is, 106kg.

So because im taller than 0ni an have a higher bf i need to bench an extra 50kg more than him? Doesnt seem logical to me

Bw ratios are not great. Always favor smaller guys.

What are peoples best bench anyway? Raw or equip? Gym or in comp?

Edit - might aswell answer myself - 210kgs @ 111ish kgs - single ply shirt/in gym

I wouldn't consider 100kg bench a very big milestone considering the amount of people in my gym that bench 100kg, which is shitloads. As for dips, yes I consider them an awesome exercise for building a big bench, although I haven't been able to do them for the past 12 months and it didn't stall my bench at all....

I love CGBP with the slingshot for triceps, or benching with bands. After a set of either of those my triceps are swollen :)

Neither, I am the worlds worst bencher and I got to 100 pretty easily.

just adding to my last post on "load"

using single joint movements would be all a trainee needed to do...if and this is a big if...if he had access to perfectly designed single joint machines.
I dont beleive a set of a dozen of these machines exist, impossible to make.

which makes multi joint machines and exercises necessary for the best possible development.

I dont think pre-exhaust type combinations are all that important, but can be used occasionaly, maybe avery second or third workout.

I haven't done a BB bench press for the last 10 years.
I don't see the point. for me.

Im not saying 100kg is a strong fucker but it is a mile stone..

Tellin me you wernt chuffed when you first benched 100?

Yeah defiantly was happy with 100kg. I only ever had 25kg plates so 2 plates was a bit off. Haha.

I was over the moon the day I benched 100kg for the first time. And for a while 100kg bench was my warmup for 15-20 reps.

But now I get to start all over again. Oh, the humiliation HAHA

Wouldnt want to, i want to be heavy. I dunno if you would get stronger as you get leaner, have you 0ni?

Yes I am getting stronger dropping body fat
Just practice the lifts and you get better at them. It's that simple

When I first benched 100kg I felt no emotion. I broke my ass for it as well. I think I just benched every single day until I got it. My best benching though was the 100kg I did for an easy triple when high as shit, never been able to replicate that since and I was much, much lighter

120kg I'll be happy with though. For me that is the "milestone"

It's different for everyone really. A milestone is something I suppose you encounter on a journey after travelling for some way. For me it was 120kg too, took me about 8 months to get there. 140kg feels like the end of the journey, or near the end.... I might exceed it one day though.
