most supplements are shit, try not to buy into the hype. Notice the "scientific experiments" behind supplements are usually done by the company that sells the product.
Whey protein is just a milk protein left over from the cheese manafacturing process. While I would recomend actual food instead of an expensive powder, if you insist on using one why not make your own for a lot cheaper?
All you need is skim milk powder, sugar, and/or flavouring (milo/sustagen etc).
Creatine has been shown to be effective for muscle development. There arent too many supplements conclusively proven to work, so be very careful of who you listen to and what you buy, because in the end its your money and your body.
