l have to agree with that. Also im assuming here but im thinking most fighters wouldnt really reward a take down if you do nothing with it or if your nearly getting your ass subed like the "mighty mouse" vs Torres fight. Might mouse took him down then spent the whole round defending shit without doing any damage.... Just because you're on top doesn't mean you're winning. Say Frank Mir pulls guard on pat barry and is in guard, who do you thinks at an advantage there? Mir is but judges will give 10-9 to barry unless mir sweeps / subs...
you should be rewarded for a takedown, Judo is a martial art just as Bjj and boxing, weather you do something with it or not IMO, I dont know about pulling guard, If you pull guard and submit them then yes but pulling guard and attempting submissions but failing, you are in a fight and you are on your back so in theory they have dominate position, they cant reward someone for being on there back in a fight, they should stand them up quicker when nothings happening
