Like you said "it's not BB.com". We like to respect fellow members whilst still having a laugh mixed in with some serious discussion.

Half arsed apology accepted.

Been lifting 5 years.

I've gained around 4-6 kilos of muscle a year. Doing the compound lifts, Bench, Bent over row, pullups, Standing Military.

3-4 sets of 10 reps, when I can do 12-13 I'll move weight up. Only do 2-3 lifts per workout, usually only 2.

Sheesh sorry HumBug. No women at your gym I take it?
If you must know my answer, it depends on how much weight I'm pushing.

I do 8 reps for my warm up sets (reasonably light).
6-8 reps for two heavy sets.
8-10 reps for one or two slightly lighter sets after that.

That's not to say that what I do is even right.. I do the sets of 6 for strength, sets of 8-10 for size. Trying to cover both bases.

I read 21's for curls are bad as it builds up lactic acid which is very catabolic and therefor should be avoided.

Just sayin'
