Im not going to judge how or why people compete but i do not see the point in competing against others to compete against yourself. You do things for your own reasons regardless of if you fully understand them yet
 
What we are saying is, to Not compete because you cannot win(using that as an excuse - and assuming there is some kind of interest in competing) is weak. If you have no interest in competing...well that is different.
 
If people compete to win and wont compete because they wont win thenlet them. Itsnone of your business why someone does or does not compete
