Split advice after hiatus

Hello all,

After a 10yr hiatus due to personal reasons & injury, I am getting back into it full swing.

Currently my split is..

Chest/calves
Shoulders/traps/abs
Legs/calves
Rest
Arms inc forearms
Back/abs/calves
Rest

Quick back story, I am 39yo, 6ft with a very fast metabolism. Started lifting late 20's & did 2x cycles before 30, haven't touched peds since. I have lower back & shoulder issues due to ego lifting primarily deadlift/squat related, and had knee surgery 3 years ago from a meniscus/acl tear.

I have a decent home gym with cables inc crossovers, power rack & mostly free weights.

My nutrition isn't an issue aside a history of high cholesterol in recent years, so keeping the diet clean can be a challenge given I have to keep my cals above 3.3k just to maintain.

Any advice appreciated.

King
