Tower Climbing Job - Anyone Interested?

No FN way would you catch me up there , You can see the curvature of the earth
1768 feet straight up ... wait until you see this!

It is incredible what people do for a living!!!!!!!!!!

Just wait for the cartoon intro to finish, then hold on to your seat.

That shit gave me a hard on. Thanks Graeme

Pretty much my dream job, used to do a fair bit of rigging love running around on high shit, but that is taking it to a whole new level.

The OH&S paperwork must be a nightmare for the poor bastard on the ground writing the job procedures.

have climbed towers before both at the radio station and also for radio comms , but nothing has high as that , the towers i have climbed would be lucky to be 30feet

I have climbed tower crane jibs your already 40 floors up when you climb the jib but it's more scary when you climb the tower from the ground and it is freestanding 20 odd metres. Having things nearby gives you a false sense of perception.

Would love to do a radio tower would be amazing the higher the better.

Awesome stuff, hell of a workout just to get to work.
Way more fun with a parachute and base jump back to your car.

There's an episode of Worlds Toughest Fixes where they show repairing one of these towers, one tough fukin job.
