Why did I choose this site? this board? and these threads?

Well I chose to post to Joel's thread, because it amused me and I'm curious about male libido...haven't met a man yet who can keep up with me. It's disappointing damnit! Not that I've been with that many men.

I chose this site because....well I'm on the weightloss journey thing and have largely been doing it on my own.

Recently....met a bodybuilder, who thinks I'm gorgeous and whilst I have confidence, I have never been able to understand why such fit, healthy, buff men would have any interest in me? It's bizarre. I would imagine they'd go for fit, buff, cute girls too. But I guess it takes all sorts.

And I realised, through conversations with friends (and many of my friends are very fit, built men too) that bodybuilding takes great commitment, willpower and strength of mind. Aesthetically...I couldn't care what the man for me looks like (except teeth, teeth are important damn it!) I need to know that he's a 'good man' and I'm in! But they are hard to find, sadly.

But I admire the tenacity and commitment of what you all do and was inspired by what you hope to achieve. I wanted to be a part of it, to bring my journey into it too?

So that's why.
