We've been having mini comps most nights after training, the guys seem to love them.
Discussing this tonight, we thought we would have a little fuck around gym comp for some of the PTC regulars.
Its a SUPERMAN comp, squat, bench, dead, press, snatch, C&J. Totals, Glossbrenner and Sinclair scores......winner
Its a PL total and a REWIND OL total, circa 1972
There is only a handful of guys who can do this so the 6 lifts shouldnt take long.
All lifts will be judged with strict interpretations. I might take some vids.
Knee wraps and belts allowed
It'll just be a casual thing on a Sunday afternoon, it a no entry fee fuck around
The only guys I can see doing it are
Armando
Alen
Daryl
Max
Dim
Mick
Wayne
Not sure on Gareth and Pierres snatching lol
Matrix is in, we now have 4 power racks at PTC plus 5 squat stands/racks.
No excuse for not squatting now.

Markos,
For a guy who didn't have a power rack until recently, your collection sure is growing fast.
I agree, now to really fuck with your head on that topic, see my recent posts to my PT thread. There will never be a piece of equipment that is as perfect as the humble barbell.
'fucking with head' indeed:I agree, now to really fuck with your head on that topic, see my recent posts to my PT thread.
WHY THE F**K ARE YOU(/THEY) BENCHING ON A SWISS BALL IN THE FIRST PLACE? It is the most retarded fkn thing I've ever seen, short of someone actually paying a PT that makes them do "flutter kicks", no weight squats/lunges/jumps/skipping/basically any excercise that does not require actual equipment or specialist training (such as gymnastics)..............because you have to join a gym, get a PT and pay fees to 'unlock' these 'movements' to be able to do themMost cases of injuries in gyms or during supervised training don't go to trial, someone sues, and either the case is quickly dropped as it's without merit, or it has some possible merit, and is settled out of court with a confidentiality agreement.
Courts in our common law Commonwealth countries are usually fairly reasonable in this respect. The trainer or organisation usually only suffer if they've been extremely stupid. For example, if they get a heavy guy to "bench press" on a swiss ball with heavy weights, it bursts and he falls and breaks his ribs (as Lon Kilgore notes, swiss ball manufacturer's specs tell you not to use weights with them).
I spy with my little eye something on Facebook starting with PTC Brisbane
