I remember when I was dieting about 5-6 years ago and my 1st meal at like 5am was egg whites - NEVER AGAIN - turned me off egg whites for the rest of my life.
Also I had an apple flavored protein powder aswell and that was my 2nd "meal"
The bread has less carbs but more fat, im eating some right now and it tastes pretty good. Still prefer Burgen linseed low gi, this helgas isnt low gi.
If you were trying to avoid carbs, wouldn't you just not eat bread. Bread and oats a source of carbs, so to advertise they're low in carbs is just backwards logic.
The lower carb breads are actually higher in calories per 100g than the standard breads. Again. lol. The low carbs have slightly more fat and a bit less carbs but overall you can eat less of it for equivalent calories. Lol.
That is why I did per 70g for both..... the fats from the seeds are good fats, so there is less carbs. People may want less carbs and substitute for fat. Dont know what your argument or where you're going with it.
Slices arent thinner, they just weigh less per size slice because less carbs not because they are trying to stinge

There was a comment that you can eat more of the helgas low carb bread. You can't its higher in calories than the normal bread. Which has been my point all along.
They make the slices smaller so it looks even lower carb and calorie than what it actually is because people compare it on a per serve basis.

I checked that a few weeks ago too Bazza. The Light Rye is actually the lowest cal per gram so I started getting that instead. I prefer the higher carb, lower fat option (as lower cal and can eat more).
