Shitty left over bbq steak, mushrooms, spring onions and baby spinach leaves, a quick sauce from a dollop or 4 of cream flavored from the marinade the steaks was in.

460gm roo - medium rare
400gm veg.


it actually just crossed my mind that ive over a kg of food in bound. lol

Chris, I just marinated the fillets with a drizzle of lemon olive oil, fresh rosemary and garlic for 30 mins.

then just grilled them in a non stick pan, cooked rare. Rested them for 5-10 mins and sliced to serve with juices on top and some Maille Dijon mustard - nice with the rosemary.
Was quite tasty .. expected it to be gamey but it wasn't.

Didn't put me off like beef and other meats do. I think it's because it's so lean.

Didn't go all spicy as I wanted everyone to try it at home. Might mince up my own fillet and make little roo burgers too.

yep, i'm sold on it too. haha, my family are still requiring medical attention for shock every time i eat meat LOL

i should have posted a pic, but was so nervous about eating it, i didn't even think of pics
