Passing out during DL?

For the OP.
If your saying it can happen any time (ie with or without a load), you might want to get a check up with a compentant GP so you can identify what the issue is. At least they can confirm what you are thinking and perhaps give you some strategies to deal with it.
 
Only happens to me when my blood sugar is low from dieting, experiment with the right amount of "pre-feed" prior to your big workouts.
 
When I'm dieting I chomp on bananas through my workout, I do this on comp days also as I don't like to lift bloated, I find my energy maintains at a good level.
