Gerry you're getting sucked in by them mate, you're now shitposting in the PL section as well :/

Woody is probably the strongest regular poster, not that it really matters 3/5 of fark all. BTW Sparty and Gerry are pretty strong for old kunce too.

i really should just stop eh.im not doing myself any favours defending anything really.

i reckon it matters here dude.it shows a practical side to the hypotheticals.who would you listen to more about deadlifting?the 200 kg deadlifter or the 300 kger?

Gerry isn't old. 40 is when most blokes hit their strength peak.

Yeah I agree to a point but then you have some people who no matter what they do it seems to work. Probably not the best people to get advise off.

Guys that been on the gear for years probably aren't the best at giving advise to natural lifters.

Then you may have a guy that has had to work at getting everything right to increase his lifts but may not be the strongest and can have some very good advise.

Those that haven't achieved even moderate levels of strength even after years of lifting show to me they haven't been putting effort in or been doing it terribly wrong and arnt likely to have real good advise.

i havent lifted for that long.i dabbled a bit in my early 20s but got bored of it.i only started again in my mid 30s because i lived in a hick town with nothing to do.and boozing and dope smoking is lame.

good post btw.

you are right..id consider guys who are wrecked from injury to be useful as well.at 1 time they may have been good, but its a bit of a dangerous hobby so yeah.they may have things to offer
i dont consider guys who post a lot but dont have a respectable strength level as someone i would listen to.
but in saying that you wouldnt come to me for arm training tips as mine are shit.but i wouldnt offer advices anyway.

Good post Bazza. Some of the best lifting advice I've gotten is from smallish light blokes who've been grinding it out and working hard for 10 years. I've also seen shitters who look very aesthetic but are weak as fuck and spout broscience constantly.

Don't even get me started on roiding manlets

tends to be the case in sports as well. The guys who make the best Coaches weren't the best/most gifted players, but they had to learn how to overcome limited genetics. This made them good/smart Coaches. Bench Polkov; is abit like this.
