So we're supposedly just off the podium in the competition for being the most obese nation , supposedly just behind NZ and behind the US and Mexico.
We're supposedly coming up fast on 30% of people being obese.
Personally I reckon it would have to be higher than that with the number of fatties out there
OECD says Australians take too many pills and must tackle nation's obesity problem
Doing pretty well on everything except obesity compared to the rest of the world

still have 15% of our population that smokes
though down from 24% in 2000
highest in the world for anticholestrol drugs and second in the world for antidepressants (we beat the US on antidepressants)
Though for some of the surgical complications ones , I think we are high becuase we actually have proper reporting unlike lots of other countries.
Waiting times for surgery have stayed the same
