my body is really annoying me

arimidex is dosed at 1/2 tab monday and thursday, and only for a month. Check bloods, then re-asses where the estrogen is at. He wants it at under 100.

Which reminds me... My blood work is now done too so I've got to book a time to go see my GP and get the results. Might see about skyving off early today and doing to. I'll post them up if the GP gives me a copy.

Hope I don't have to rub some nasty astringent goop on my nuts...

Sticky alot of what the dr ordered are pretty routine, BB should not be a problem

if you have in the clinical notes on the request that their is a family history or hypothyroidism they should get done, usually it only gets done if you are on thyroid meds, or the dr is a thyroid specialist, family history. You would be surprised how many lab tests are effected by what medicare dictates.

What path lab is doing your tests? they all pretty much bb, I know after your first visit with SNP, you are BB from then on, on all medicare rebateable tests.

I was confused at first too until I saw noobs mention bulk bill. I read all the BB's as bodybuilding, lol.
 
No dramas stick, there's always the good with the bad - chin up & you'll pull through the rough patches.

Just a note: always adhere to the advice of the physician, as he knows your med records better than anyone else. How long have you had your heart condition for, and what were the symptoms/how was it diagnosed? Did you feel palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue?

Good to see you're removed a lot of what can aggravate the condition. Don't stress too much about the cancer, they'll have that under control sooner than later.
 
Im actually meeting with the plastic surgen in a hour, FINALLY!
Im pretty sure Ive always had the heart condition, but it got worse when I started drinking (12-13). I ended up at about 50% of total beats being ectopic, but since Ive changed my lifestyle, Im down to about 10% which is within normal range. Im now not taking the medication, so Ill see what they are at when I go back in october. It feel much, much better though.
 
Good luck with it Scott. Lifestyle and diet play a big part in your overall health. Some things are genetic and you've just got to cop it sweet, but the bulk of our health issues are diet and exercise related.

I cleaned up both and feel better than ever, but still struggling with a couple of minor things. I got my bloodwork results yeterday and just posted the highlights up in my log if your interested:

Fark me 50% ectopic beats is not good, I pulled out 6 during an exercise test and that worried me enough. At least your heart hasn't stopped due to them though.

Ha, Mike your test is much higher than my 12.9 haha. I hopeing to hit at least low 30's now though.

Dave, yeh I'm kind if glad my heart hasn't stopped also .

Man the hospital is PACKED today. I doubt I'll be getting out of here anytime soon .

Finally back.
Going off the reports/biposey the surgeon is fairly confident that it hasnt spread into the cartlidge/bone of the nose which is good.
After a close visual inspection, the infected area is looking better. She has booked me in for sometime in september.
As the area is looking ok, she wont be taking a large chunk of skin which would then need grafting. She is taking another slice out which will be abot the size of a 5c piece. That will then get a biopsy, and If their are still SSC's then the larger slice will come.
Their are 3 types of cancer that I can gather.
BCC - relatively harmless, cannot spread.
SCC - Can spread, are moderatly aggressive, can be treated with radiation and chemo.
Melanoma - Once youve got it, its a game of luck. No treatments avaliable.

So on the upside, at least its not a melanoma. She said though, its extreamly rare for a 23yo to have the SCC, and itrs even rare for a 40yo. The cancer I have doesnt nnormally show up untill around 60. She says I must have alot of skin damage.

SCC and BCC are caused by UVB rays - most sunscreens will stop these. What they are not very good at stopping are UVA rays. UVA rays are the ones that cause melanoma's.
Have you norticed that olived skin people can smash themselves with sunscreen, spend all day in the sun, not get burned (red), but still get a tan? Thats because the UVB's make you go red, but the UVA's can tan your skin.
Basiclly, if your tanning, your saying hello to UVA (melanoma) rays.
 
I think you missed your calling, get a job at the cancer council to give skin cancer talks.

Nar its not a BCC, its definatly a SCC. The biposy confims this. All I'm hopeing is that the sucker hasnt attachen to the carlidge, which thankfully the doctor said is unlikley in my case.
Another concern is the amount of skin damage I have. They way she was talking Im at super high risk of getting this again, or worse, a melanoma. I have to be very carfull not to get burnt, ever!
My bottom lip is the next suspect area that needs to be looked at.
