Yeah it was kind of weird. The legit coaches (that compete) agreed with everything I said, and I agreed with their advice. But some of the other coaches had weird and wonderful tips that I constantly butted heads with; and things got heated from time to time. I half expected a call from Max's (again) to tell me to calm it lol.

Anyway, the Top 10 are announced tomorrow. There's a few guys that are a sure bet. I'll dig up their pics.

Wife is looking at doing the next round of this...

What's the deal with buying their supps kaz;
Unless she thinks she will hit the top 10 or 50 dont bother buying their supps. I didnt purchase one! Very pricey. Stick with the supps you know!

Im registering and starting today but have spent the last week mentally preparing. Made the food changes, started getting up at 5am when I intend to train. And I still feel like staying in bed!

Cheers dude

What are your goals this time...

Thinking I should sin up too even if I can only do legs for the next 6 weeks

The bars aren't too bad if you are looking at buying some anyway, price comparable to other bars as well. Otherwise I'd just stick with BN or something similar. They also run a 'thermo' type powder if that is what you are after

I used quest throughout the whole time. I did see the Maxines packs for sale but the outlay was expensive.

Cool part is, the two winners from the last one are both from Karratha :)
Damien used to be a sparky on the same team as me a few years ago.
Jade is one of my spearo mates' wife...
Awesome work.

The supp guidelines change slightly with each challenge, but it usually means you need to buy a 1kg tub of protein or box of bars every 4 weeks.

Most people taking training seriously will already be using protein powder, so mix it up and try some of the Max's/Maxine's stuff. The small boxes are very expensive, but the bigger boxes are more price competitive. The SuperWhey is about $110 for 3kg and tastes great.

If you do get selected for Top 10, you just need proof of purchase of some Max's products. For the amount you get out of the challenge for free, it's say it's definitely worth it.
