Well for what it's worth, i think ISIS/ISIL are nothing more than a large terrorist group.

The Muslim and Islamic people seem to get on just fine otherwise.

The terrorists being targeted are not muslim or islamic people, they are terrorists who have corrupted their religion into something they think suits their ends.
 
What makes one group terrorists and another not? USA kills thousands of people including their allies and they're saving the world but these guys fight face to face and use their limited means and they're terrorists?

Or is it because USA doesn't put it on YouTube like the other guys? Both sides are as bad as each other using bullshit to try and justify killing innocent people who don't live the way they want them to, one just has better technology and more money to do the job.

yes USA kill innocents, but 99% of the time by mistake. they dont directly attack civilians and go round beheading people. íf they wanted to attack civilians why would they spend billions on cruise missiles and drones when they could just napalm the place.

after WW2 the world decided attacking civilians was unacceptable, except for this barbarians in the middle east
 
This has got me thinking. If these ISIS/IS guys are the minority fanatics, and if what they are doing is contrary to what the majority of Muslim say is the correct righteous word of the Prophet, then why is there no a general popular uprising by this Muslim majority worldwide against these guys ?? Jihad against the jihadists.
 
I didn't say they directly attack civilians but they have a rather relaxed view of collateral damage. Shit the yanks have acceptable losses in training exercises, that's fucked up on its own.

A pistol really helps against landmines, rockets, heavy machine guns and beady eyed little buggers with machetes. I've learnt my lesson. If someone asks me "have you used one of these before?" I'll answer no.
 
Pistol would work well against beady eyed little buggers with machetes. That's kind of what they were invented for. In a situation where someone with more knowledge and experience than you asks if you have used one before it is probably in your interests to be totally honest with them.

So, there are more than two sides? OK. I can accept that things can be complicated. So, whats the other side of having your young son hold up the decapitated head of another human, possibly a father, a brother, a son, a husband? Is there some factor that I am unaware of that makes this right and good? Or is it really just a binary thing after all?
