how much direct biceps work do you do

My arms are so girly, barbell curls hurt them lol.... but i can do a fair few chins, just need to get a belt for more weight...
 
I've done plenty of hammer curls in the past, not so much anymore. At various times I've done curls with oly bar and ez curl bar, but my preference has always been alternating curls with dumbbells.
 
+1 on dumbell curls.. with fat gripz

I never isolate biceps, chins ups are good enough for me - 3 x 8 with 20 - 30kg 3 x a week.

If you can do 15+ dead hang reverse grip chins you probably won't feel the need to do curls

Occasionally I will do hammer curls to balance up elbow flexion:extension numbers but only if my elbows have been playing up
