I was close to pulling the trigger on all the gear (rack, fid bench, bar + 240kg of plates) until I checked my garage ceiling height and realised it wouldnt fit
now debating whether I want squat rack instwad of full cage or whether I just stick with the public gym
I actually weighed my Pendlay 500g plates the other day, just out of curiosity. Both around 700 grams. They are not sold as calibrated plates though which is why they aren't super expensive like say the DHS competition change plates.

That annoys me about my garage. I can reach up and lay my palms flat on the ceiling, no lifting in there for me.
