Hey all, glad you have the "introduce yourself" board as I wouldn't know where to start, this place is huge.
I'm looking for some advice on supplements to build muscle, and it looks like everyone has recommendations but not much in the way of consensus?
I'm not looking to be a body builder (although give me time) but to put on muscle - I was immobile for a while thanks to an accident, and frankly wasted away - now I'm able to be active again I've been trying to build muscle back up. I saw some great gains in the first few months, but it's been static every since - I just can't eat enough (either I can't eat or I can't exercise for being bloated if I do). So I'm looking into protein supplements etc, preferably made in Australia.
I've heard a lot of supplements are bulked out with rubbish - as I'm trying to gain muscle essentially for medical reasons I don't want to waste time experimenting: I'm looking for something known to be high quality, even if it's pricey. And yeah, I know that a high price doesn't always mean high quality - that's why I'm here
So I've rambled on enough - any suggestions or insights? I really am hoping for Australian made rather than imported, call me paranoid
