Today I got some pretty big news.

I've been selected for the development squad of the World Team to compete against the USA in Texas this February.

Unfortunately not.

I have been selected as part of a group who will train with the team to develop skills because I am age eligible to play next year aswell.

Should be a good experience regardless.

9th of Jan for a couple of weeks and then off to TX for the World Team thing on the 27th.

So today I went to see the Washington Redskins play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Jacksonville FL.
Was cold as hell, only 1 degree Celsius before windchill. Probably ended up around -3 or so.
Anyway, I had a field pass so I got to get onto the field pre-game which was pretty cool. Pictures (and possibly video) to come.

MaxxScout All-American game is at 4pm today (New Year's Eve) Florida time.

It will be webcast live at Bandit Sports TV. I'm pretty sure it will be 8am AEDT.

Due to the USA vs World game being so close to the time I was meant to be going home, I have changed my flights.
Wont be back at PTC until early Feb Markos.

Turns out they left a couple of spots open on the roster for development squad players who impress the coaches early.

Sounds like a challenge.
