I'm a part-time martial arts instructor. Classes are maybe 60-40% male to female. My experience:Like Markos, I have found that women have greater pain tolerance. They also tend to have better bodily awareness and are more willing to listen to instruction, it's easier to teach them new exercises. On the other hand they're often a bit lacking in physical confidence and tend to say "I can't do that," before they've even tried, and also have this crazy stuff about their bodies which tends to keep them small and weak.
