I read a case study in which a group of older males had better results eating 2 large meals consisting of 90-120g of protein each rather than the other group who only ate 6 meals with 30g protein in each.
Obviously the tests weren't very tangible because every human is different but every one of the individuals who at 120g of protein each had much better results in terms of weight gain.
I have personally mixed between small meals and huge ones, im still getting stronger, still getting leaner..
