I started doing dumbbell wrist curls a few weeks ago now I'm looking for some point of reference to work towards.
I'm sure everyone has their own ideas but what's considered heavy for this movement? How much would someone strong be lifting?
E.g. for bench, squat, deadlift there's 300/400/500...
Preferably not too expensive (not sure how much I'll ever use them!) and/or with low cost shipping (so from Australia, or maybe from Amazon, say...)
Just has to hold up to increasingly heavy shrugs, maybe some other pulls if/when I need them for that, and I might use them for front squats, if I...
If you have a power rack with safety bars , these are great. So cheap and easy to make and a genuinely great forearm workout, not to mention lots of fun. I believe exercise variety is more important for the mind than the body so you don't get bored.
I made three wrist rollers , each different...
When I am doing bent over rows my right wrist clicks and feels like it is popping in and out. New to lifting and wondering if this is common or not. Also I have read about people using those wrist straps that wrap around the bar as well (can't remember what they are called) and wondering if they...

I had no idea there was such an exercise until a random mate came to the gym with me. Anyone actually do these things?
He says "best way to get big forearms".
I said "do pullups". He did 2.5 pullups.
Looked through and couldn't find a thread answering my question so:
I get wrist pain when I front squat or clean
I hold it with just one finger like suggested but it still hurts loads
It started to affect my pressing so I stopped doing them for now
How to stop it from happening? Stretching it...
Hi guys!
Well first off, I'm an idiot (read below) and I'm now paying the price for my stupidity.
I play pennant squash (ie once per week in a local competition). During one match back in October last year, I was playing absolutely terribly, and as such, lost the match. In a final fit of...

I think it's due to bench technique. It flares up when I use bars (DB seem to be ok because I can slightly angle my wrist). I was doing SLDL yesterday and it flared up, so I switch to alternating...
