Well i spotted a summer newbie today. he (chubby) wore shorts/singlet/headband and wristband.
Proceeded to do Dumbell bicep curls (why am i not surprised) with 5kgs on each side and started grunting like it he was giving birth.
Did 6 reps dumped the dumbells with a loud bang from shoulder...
Sorry for the barage of newbie questions... but that's what I am!
Example:
Military Press
1x8 - 7 easy reps, last rep hard
1x8 - 6 easy reps, last 2 reps extremely slow
1x8 - 5 easy reps, last 3 reps extremely slow, barely made final rep
Would you increase the weight in your next session? Or...
No joke. This is true, and, I owe it all to proper diet. Dont underestimate the power of the diet. Diet > all suppliments.
Oh, and btw, I weigh in at 85kg now, 5"10, bench 4x8x70kg.
I have been wondering when something goes from being a warm up to being a working set.
Does anyone have any opinions?
If i did 10kg less weight than my intended working sets would that be a warmup or just another working set?
next week i'll be moving houses so for about 3 weeks i'll be out of the gym until i settle in and find another gym. I am afraid of losing what I gained, i know that i will i lose some but roughly how much of my gain will I lose and how to prevent that or how to slow it down...?
