I have been diagnosed with a partial tendon tear in my right shoulder plus bursitis. It manifests as a general weakness in the shoulder when doing bench presses, flies, etc. Does anyone have experience of going down the surgical route. I’m interested in knowing if the repair is 100% and if full...

I have been training for a while now and I am getting bored at the moment, I need something to break things up for me a bit.
So I am looking at some challenges to do. By challenges I mean things to achieve that would appear to be impressive tasks.

This is yet an experiment within an experiment. Most of you are aware of what I'm doing in my training journal, and that I no longer squat..., or do any leg pressing/lunging movements. So the question is this: do you think I can build my legs to a respectable size (or at least to their former...

Hi all,
I've been battling a shoulder issue for the last 2.5 months and would appreciate some advice.
I've had an MRI which confirmed a partial (12mm x 4mm) tear of the supraspinatus and some fluid in the bone of the humerous (which is a result of the tear).
I've been doing rotator cuff...

Which exercises and techniques do you use to balance out your anterior and posterior shoulders/delts?
Too many dudes focus on the anterior (eg presses, flyes), not enough on the posterior (eg rows, reverse flyes).
What lengths do YOU go to to ensure your shoulder gets worked out evenly across...

I avoid sldl because I can not simply do them, for me its dangerous to my lower back. I also avoid the hack squat machine as i get pain in my knees.
Ive heard people avoiding upright rows, but i do them?

When lower the weights, how low should I go? A lot of websites are saying to bring the dumbbells down to your chest, with the elbows going all the way down, and the others are saying not to bring your elbows past the level of your back, so at 90 degrees, like this...
Hey all,
I've got a really nit picking question that doesn't really have any great bearing on life- how much of the loaded weight on a leg press is the user actualy lifting? Ie, what % of the lift? Based on a 45 degree leg press.
You probly need to be some sort of maths genius to work it out...
Okay, if you're a bodybuilder, choose the first one. If you're a MMA fighter, then choose the second one and imagine the ceiling is your opponent's face. If you're an Olympic weightlifter, you can do all of them.
