Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum.
Finally decided to make the switch from a commercial gym to a home gym for a variety of reasons. I'm basing my home gym around a power rack, bench and oly bar/plates (i focus on the big 3 for the most part).
This is the rack I have been seriously...
Hi guys, I've been training on and off for about 2 years now and my limitation has always been the equipment I've got at home.
I want to upgrade to something that will last me a lifetime so I'm looking for a good quality power rack.
This "Commercial Olympic Heavy Duty Multi Power Rack" looks...
British Weightlifting Documentary – Girl Power, Going For Gold

So my cousin has fallen victim to the P90x program and I'm trying to convert him to lifting weights like you know, a man! Sorry ladies of ausBB, I mean, like a real "person" :p
He's not fat and he's quite strong for the limited amount of lifting experience he has so I thought the P90x is not...
I require a CLOSED POWER RACK in which the side safeties can be set at 190cm or taller to suspend a barbell at 190cm or taller.
The Force USA CPR is one but does anyone know of any others??
Cheers and thanks in advance
Hey guys,
I'm finally putting together my garage gym after cancelling my gym membership once and for all. I'm looking at getting a power/squat rack, bench, barbell and bumper plates.
Due to space constraints, I've narrowed down my options to either the Rogue S-2 squat rack or the Iron Edge...
Will put up footage of Fadi from his recent time at PTC on the power clean...
Will add more over the next week or so....
This one is Fadi showing one of the common mistakes seen. (Reminds me of cross fitters)
Note that Fadi does not think about it when he power cleans... It just happens...
BPR02 Power Rack with High Low Pulley
I currently have a rack this size. Its the bodymaker version bought off ebay like 6 or 7 years ago. Has 2" tubing.
The size suits me well, but I am starting to out grow it. I am kinda concerned as my squat pushes up closer to 180 that the rack won't be...
Sup guys,
Hoping that there are some Ausbrah's out there to help me figure this out (or anyone who knows what Australia can get a hold of). Been looking through threads for a good 2 days and still can't decide.
I'm pretty much after the best power rack I can get with $1000-1500. Given i don't...
I have all the fittings on my cage and the bands, so what is the benefits of working with bands when lifting?
Have been meaning to looking into it.......thought I'd ask the pros
How does it help a PL?
Best Lifts: S90kgs, B50kgs, D112.5kgs :)
My 1st post is a question sorry
I'm seriously considering getting this rack as it looks pretty solid but the weight ratings seem a bit exaggerated. Could any owners tell me the pros and cons of this unit. Also if anyone has the lat pulldown, is it of good quality ?.
Thanks,
Marcus
