Good Evening,
I'm throwing up a July calf challenge.
The Challenge: To train calves everyday for the month of July.
The Reason: To get my calves to grow.
The Method: train calves everyday for a minimum of 5 working sets.
I will take before and after photos. Flexed and relaxed.
Who's in? :D...
This thread here had me thinking for a while:
http://ausbb.com/general-topic/18707-modern-manhood.html
How could we test mental as well as physical thoroughness in modern man (and women) that would be fair to all, no matter what physical size and relative strength you have.
Then I was...
So after reading about these again lately, thought it would be good idea for a challenge.
I was thinking
16kg for 6mins
24kg for 4mins
32kg for 2mins
Thoughts or adjustments?
Allowed to switch sides whenever you want.
I know I can do SFA at 32kg so time probably won't matter much on...
Start on one side of the room, and perform 20 burpees straight with no rest – that’s 20 burpees with fluidity and constant motion. Finished? Take 10 leisurely paces away from the corner, then turn around and take 10 paces back. This is your rest period – please cherish it. Then perform 19...
So I read a study the other day that had guys swinging a 16kg KB for 12mins. The average was apparently 265.
I was going to give it a go and see how many I get. Anyone else up for some conditioning. You know, so you don't get puffed out walking up the stairs :p

There were a couple of PA lifters at the CAPO Southern States on Sunday.
We were discussing ProRaw and they said they were going to compete at the RC.
It seems a rep comp is not classed as a PL comp, so they are free to compete. Last year a PA lifter won a SM comp, so I guess its cool. We have...

I think Karen would have a great shot at placing well in the PRORAW Rep Challenge. Only problem is that she isn't big on the idea. If you guys send some words of encouragement I can forward them to her and egg her on.
Here she is with some nice PB's in the Bench and Squat that would break the...
The details for this comp are going up early to allow lifters to make arrangements.
It will be held at PTC on the 24th of April, Easter Sunday.
In previous Strongman comps interstate competitors were at a disadvantage due to not having the implements to train on. I have done my best to...
