    Switch to WPI, it's low lactose, then you can down more. Like people have said, eat more. I had a mate who said was a hard gainer. I put him on laksa diet, he put on weight real quick. Lots of calories in coconut milk... something like 4 x more than milk for the same volume.

    Most likely it's your form when you do it, my guess is that your knees go in instead of staying outside over your toes on the way up (and possibly down). Usually thanks to weak VM.

    Your Daily Protein Intake

    I aim for minimum of 150g and it's closer to 200g and can go up to 250g. I usually have some sort of canned fish for breakfast, tuna, salmon, mackerel etc... Meat for lunch, beef, chicken, fish etc... Dinner as above. Beef jerky, Yoghurt, eggs etc... If I think I'm under I will have WPI, but...

    Pressure cookers...

    Anyone has one and uses it? I've just got mine (a combo of 4 and 8 litre) and and used it few times. Love it! The slower cooker now is going in the bin. The flavours and textures are so much better. Also the cheap cuts of beef are super tender! Not to mention it's supposed to retain a lot more...

    Interesting article. You should check for gout. Since on one hand it recommends sardines, but I guess if you have gout then you have to find alternatives. I've arthrites and I eat lots of them + fish oil.

    I doubt it's sardines. They are very good source of Omega 3, they have equivalent of 10g of fish oil in 1 can. I eat it quiet often.

    My squat is 135kg for 5 reps right now and it's climbing up weekly (I had a 8month hiatus from lifting thanks to breaking few bones). My squats are deep, ass to the grass. Well below parallel, but my body mechanics don't lend themselves to deadlifts. Not to mention I've a fair bit of meniscus...

    Deadlift help

    I'm very weak when it comes off the floor. It's actually 15kg less than my squat which is kind of weird. I've been doing a fair bit of reading about it and as of this week I will start doing deficit deadlifts as well as snatch deadlifts.

    Squats / Deads after surgery

    I wouldn't do leg extensions, but that depends on where the tear was. Can you do body weight squats? If you can do them, they are much better than leg extensions.
