Rapid Fat Loss diet by Lyle McDonald

I set my max carbs to 80 calories, unless on a workout day (TKD), so I guess 20 grams. This is my first time though, so don't know if that is good or bad?

Rapid Fat Loss diet by Lyle McDonald

What if you've set your calories to say 80 a day from carb sources? That's ~25% gone in a hit. Guess it depends on what else you're having throughout the day.

Rapid Fat Loss diet by Lyle McDonald

Ah yeah, no... how dodgy hey? Guess we should look at the stats of things and look at all the carb sub-items. Perhaps not relevant here, but have also heard that artificial sweeteners like in Coke Zero can promote an insulin response (something about your body getting ready for the sugar that...

Does this info help? Sweeteners like maltitol, lacitol, and sorbitol - Marketing Tricks: Net Carbs, Sugar Alcohols, Tricky Portion Sizes The sugar alcohol's give between 1 and 3 calorie's per gram. So less than a vanilla carb, but nothing that should be ignored!

More fats to blunt the hunger? Might take a few days?

    Low carb Pizza

My efforts tonight. Great first attempt (in taste if not visually). Could do with a crunchier base - which probably would happen if cooked on a rack, rather than tray.

Southbank / South Melbourne gym recommendations

Latest centre checked out today, link here. UltimateYouFitness at 300 City Road, Southbank. Cheap, close, quiet (for now at least), brand new gear. It's under construction so only half built, but free until launch if you sign up, and $10 per week for anyone that signs up before official...

    Low carb Pizza

I was committed though, had to see the mistake through. After all, got the blender a month or two back, and only used it once.... was trying to give it it's opportunity to shine!

    Low carb Pizza

That's exactly what I was thinking as I was cursing the blender, wouldn't it just be easier to chop or grate? Just following the instructions on the first time of course :D

    Low carb Pizza

Just put together some of these bases. 250g cauliflower, 150g cheese, 100g egg. They look good! 70% fat, 26% protein, 4% carbs. "Ricing" cauliflower was a bitch though, only have a blender.

    Low carb Pizza

I didn't go by the pics, more the ingredients. I printed the lemon Almond one - because you nicely had a calorie split at the bottom, and it was the best fit :)

The bread toast in particular could be a winner! Will jump on there and have a look. Thank you maam :D

    Low carb Pizza

Do you mean low protein + low carb? Really looking for high fat items with some protein, negligible carbs. Particularly breakfast a tough one, not so much for me, but my partner. Doing egg's + meat with nuts and spinach etc is tough on her (used to oats, cereal, bread). Best I've done so far...

Any recommendations like this that would help 65/35/5 (f/p/c) split?

Thought it seemed a bit high, we're a similar weight. What did you use to calculate your maintenance cals?

    Oznut's Thingy-ma-jig for 2013

Southbank / South Melbourne gym recommendations

Have been going to Olympia the past week to check it out. Definitely an old gym and everything that goes with that (both a good and bad thing). Cheap, relatively close by, and clearly lots of dedicated BB's there. Not many small fry's like me there. They either get scared off or get big I...

    1 month cut.

Mate am sub'd, just about to start my first ever cut, so good to use you as motivation if I suck at it... I'm a little lighter than you but also fatter than you (17% bf). I'll try to hold you accountable if you're struggling.

    Bradders 2013 transformation..

Hoping you can look back in a year and be surprised how many goals you've kicked. I look forward to the time when dropping bf% isn't one of them anymore! Good luck!

    Test supplements??

Thanks for your continued input. I think I'm across the Vit E at least - making sure not soybean oil produced and high in the full mix of tocotrienols (not tocopherols).
