You called it... It's so hard for these older guys to compete. 42 years old and still fighting guys in their prime? You just can't do it, there aren't many if any UFC guys who l think can get to the Bernard Hopkins level.... These new drug tests are really fucking people up...
 
He's fought the same 2 guys for the last 4 years... Little annoying now with all these injuries and rematches.

Mark Hunt is 300+ pounds now apparently as well... Fucking heavyweights.

Made a shitty list on when the last fight was for the current UFC champs / and or their next scheduled fight...

Cain has no one even close to him to fight, a bit of JDS died in that last fight, no one else is remotely on his level, Hendricks I can't stand, I don't even know why but he urks me, he thinks his standup is on par, I hope he gets matched with hector soon, I think hector will finish him in round 1,

I cannot wait for this weekend, Aldo is my favourite fighter, he has seemed a bit un motivated lately, hopwfully with the smack talk and connor climbing the ladder he is fired up and WEC Aldo comes back,
 
Injuries, injuries and more injuries in the UFC, getting beyond the joke.

What are people thoughts. The tougher drug testing has a lot of people coming off the gear and now getting injured?

A lot of blokes seem to be suspiciously losing a lot of size.
 
Probably a little of that. You cant train the same way when youre off gear, you just cant recover quick enough.

I do want to see what Vitor looks like at the weigh ins though.

Might see a few more fighters 'gassing' as well if they havent epo'd themselves to the gills before fighting.

Vitor used to look like he was carved out of stone. There were some recent pics and he looked puffy and small. Like you said interesting to see what he turns up looking like in the octagon.

Had a great day at the UFC yesterday. None of the fights went the distance, first time in UFC history!!!
The undercard was good too. Richie Vas copped a sensational head kick after dominating early. And Dan Kelly was surprisingly good in his fight. Former Aussie judo Olympian.
The UFC certainly know how to entertain.

Was going to fly to Sydney with the mrs and watch this but the card didn't look overly exciting to me but watching it on TV it was pretty good.
 
Was devastated when Hunt copped that knee. He was all over Werdum before that, a couple of knock downs, a take down and got out of werdums guard without getting into any trouble. He had him rattled but oh well I don't think the loss hurts him too much given the circumstances.

Then right after that there is Weidman vs Belfort and Rousey vs Zingano on the same card.

Looks like the Lawler vs Hendricks is going to play out before McDonald gets his shot at the title.

Dillishaw vs Cruz early in 2015 also, seems like the trash talking has begun there...

Some good fights coming up....
