basically high protein, low carbs. Eat till you're full.
Must work well for some people but that diet theory got me to my fattest and unhealthiest ever. Don't need to pay money to do that again.
How so, eating until your full is doomed from the start, how do you judge calories to maintain lose or gain weight?
Dark. High protein low carb can obviously work and work well for some people. The eat until full part doesn't for me. If I eat until full on low carb ill end up as fat as a house.

Yep. Do what is long term sustainable for you to keep at a healthy body fat level. The rest is minor details.
