Hi There guys, perhaps a stupid question but how important it is to wear weightlifting belts while doing exercises such as squats and deadlifts. At the moment i am doing 130kgX5 squats and 140kgX5 deadlifts without wearing belts. but specially during deadlifts i feel tremendous pressure on my abdominal section. although i keep my abs really tight (Suck a bit air and then release gradually from mouth). I hope i wont injure myself or something like hernia ?? any suggestion
PS: I am doing ripptoes' workout and doing ab exercise after each session of main lifts!
