Why are you not getting stronger?

Diet. Hands down diet. I put 113% effort in every training session, I've given up the grog, I train consistently but my diet is my weak spot. It's not totally bad but could be a lot better, I mean "will" be a lot better.

sleep. not enough. *falls asleep on keyboard*

oi young man! You've had this problem for quite some time! lol

Go to bed before 1am! :p

launching too hard, too fast, with out putting in the ground work, resulting in injuries, ego definetely contributes
I thought i was going great guns a 500 total seemed in the bag come june.

I attempted near max effort lifts too often, and kept pushing the boundries, so what i made my self lift and what my body was really ready for were a few kg different, popped 3 disks in my lower back

Contributing factors include,:
-not warming up and stretching enough
-not putting in the correct training/ time under the bar
-sleep has and will continue to be an issue until the kids get older
- i still eat food and enjoy it, i dont just eat because i require XXXX Kj, and a, b, c macros..if i get fat i cut back some crap, if i get hungry i increase it.
-and quite possibly i overtrain, three 2 hour sessions a week, each one focused on a main compound and an accessory area, mostly,
- no real set plan but just aim to lift more weight or more reps over time,

I'd like to say nothing gets in the way at the moment, I am still riding the newbie gains at the moment.
I do carry the on-call phone at work and get called out at night alot but they are minor hiccups and I do my best to work aound them...

Is this a bad form/technique thing?
Or a pre-existing thing you should let heal before lifting?

Not bad form/technique. It is a pre existing injury but I do wait for it to heal it just seems to keep happening. I have osteitis pubis at the moment as well so thats a pain in the ass.
