What blender do you use?

My blender just died, again, and I'm looking for a decent replacement. I can't afford anything amazing like a vitamix, but I'd like the best bang for your buck blender I can find.

Any recommendations?

Anything under $150 is not worth buying.
The higher wattage motor the better.

I just bought a breville which has a wider base in the jug, very easy to clean.

I was hoping around the $200 mark. I've done a bit of research and Blendtec are up there with Vitamix, but only half the price. Could be worth saving for.

same I got a $25 blender i use every morning... u can sort of see a light when upulse it like the motor is on fire but it keeps cranking day after day... ice, oats, frozen berries... she keep on grinding.

Heard a lot about that Sunbeam series in my searching. I'll probably get that one.

I have one, it's really good.

I've been using stick mixers lately too (they fit into most shaker bottles), because I'm too lazy to do the required manual shaking.

I went through 3 cheapo blenders and a food processor in 4 years... so then I decided to get the Vitamix. Best investment ever. I've made nut milks, nut butter, banana icecream using only frozen bananas (this killed my cheap blender!), fruit juices, sauces, everything!
