Weight gain has plateaued

4 day split i reckon. For calories 30-59 use this as a guide.
11.6 multiply current weight + 879, multiply further via 1.5 (sedentary) or 1.6 (moderately active) or 1.7 (very active). This is to maintain bodyweight. add 300-500 cals to put on mass.

Thanks for the limited advice guys...

Good luck with the forum

There advice here was not limited. Many people gave you good detailed answers. Shrek and Andy were trying to get you THINKING to help change your mind set to what is needed to make your goals. They both made good points in regards to you needing to stop thinking about the weight goal and start lifting seriously so you could actually achieve your set goal.

Max Brenner gave you good nutritional advice and you would not even go into detail (full program info was needed) about your training when asked numerous times. Andy has been training guys for a long time as it is a personal hobby of his. Shrek went from a little skinny dude to a 100kg man. Max Brenner runs his own body composition business.

Maybe next time you should be more open to suggestions instead of thinking you are right. Maybe if you provided the asked for information you would have gotten even more answers.

Errrm, well Hi and bye Haggis.

If you do read this, I think you need to keep your food intake even through the week and change up your routine to include 1 extra day per week. There is many ways to do this, but if you are already on a split and you train 2 days a week just do the first part of the split on the third day.
eg, MON.WED, FRI
Workout A Mon
Workout B Wed
Workout A Fri
than keep it going
Workout B Mon etc
I really think you need to eat more than that also, my wife eats 3000 cals a day and weighs 60kg, she eats for growth, I eat for growth also with high protien like yourself but I also have a lot of fat to loose, so I eat 3000cals also.
I think you were quick to jump the gun on the boys, especially shrek, they are a great bunch of folks on this forum and you will be loosing a great amount of helpfull REAL LIFE advice on lifting. The guys are quick to point out floors in your training most of the time as they have seen HUNDREDS of people with the same sort of questions, and I personally like the opinions expressed in here, some harsh, some not, but all help when making the decisions that ultimately YOU have to make. So don't get so touchy with this stuff.
I think you need to take your training to the next level, this is what I think shrek was saying to you, you need to up the intensity to go that last extra few kg your after.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting a different result... a very smart man said that a long time ago, and it still rings true today.

You asked for advice, you got advice and decided you know better and did not want any part of it, yet you are the one thats on a plateau:confused:

Looks like you have decided to go back to the insanity:cool:

You wanna get huge? Really huge?

Ok...

Get in your car and drive to pizza hut. Eat at least 2 thick crust pizzas and have two helpings of dessert. Do this every night for 2 weeks. You will gain weight! :0

Leachy's plan is solid except Pizza Hut is a pile of shit. Dominoes ain't too shabby if you go the cheap mainstream option.

EDIT - Or strike up a homo relationship with jz and get him to cook for you.

EDIT EDIT - sorryjz

Most townships have a decent local pizza joint.

I finally asked him one day how he did it.

"You mean I never told you the secret to gaining weight? Come outside and I'll fill you in."

Now remember, we're at Westside Barbell. And this guy wants to go outside to talk so no one else can hear. Think about that for a minute. What the hell is he going to tell me? This must be some serious shit if we have to go outside, I thought.

So we get outside and he starts talking.

"For breakfast you need to eat four of those breakfast sandwiches from McDonalds. I don't care which ones you get, but make sure to get four. Order four hash browns, too. Now grab two packs of mayonnaise and put them on the hash browns and then slip them into the sandwiches. Squish that %^&it down and eat. That's your breakfast."

At this point I'm thinking this guy is nuts. But he's completely serious.

"For lunch you're gonna eat Chinese food. Now I don't want you eating that crappy stuff. You wanna get the stuff with MSG. None of that non-MSG bull. I don't care what you eat but you have to sit down and eat for at least 45 minutes straight. You can't let go of the fork. Eat until your eyes swell up and become slits and you start to look like the woman behind the counter."

"For dinner you're gonna order an extra-large pizza with everything on it. Literally everything. If you don't like sardines, don't put 'em on, but anything else that you like you have to load it on there. After you pay the delivery guy, I want you to take the pie to your coffee table, open that fucker up, and grab a bottle of oil. It can be olive oil, canola oil, whatever. Anything but motor oil. And I want you to pour that shit over the pie until half of the bottle is gone. Just soak the shit out of it."

"Now before you lay into it, I want you to sit on your couch and just stare at that r&*($$. I want you to understand that that pizza right there is keeping you from your goals."

This guy is in a zen-like state when he's talking about this.

"Now you're on the clock," he continues. "After 20 minutes your brain is going to tell you you're full. Don't listen to that shit. You have to try and eat as much of the pizza as you can before that 20-minute mark. Double up pieces if you have to. I'm telling you now, you're going to get three or four pieces in and you're gonna want to quit. You @##% can't quit. You have to sit on that couch until every piece is done.

And if you can't finish it, don't you ever come back to me and tell me you can't gain weight. 'Cause I'm gonna tell you that you don't give a #$%^ about getting bigger and you don't care how much you lift!"

Did I do it? Hell yeah. Started the next day and did it for two months. Went from 260 pounds to 297 pounds. And I didn't get much fatter. One of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, though
