Been hearing all week about this "Antarctic Blast" coming up the East Coast of Australia. It reached Qld overnight and temps have dropped abit and it is VERY windy but not a cloud in the sky. What can we QLDers expect? What are you Victorians @Silverback; etc and you unfortunate Newsouthwelshman @Shrek etc already experiencing.

Is it really an Antarctic Blast?
 
In short, weather here is fucked, like Siberia, polar bears would freeze their nuts off here.
 
You know what, I'm disappointed, I don't think its much colder/wetter than any other shit winters day after hearing all week about the apocolyptic conditions that were supposed to be coming.

Wait till you get to work tomorrow, if you work in the CBD. Brisbane is blue skies but windy as fuck. As soon as you get inbetween buildings where the sun can't reach, the wind chill factor is freezing. Need to be out in the sunshine.
