UFC Thread

I still think they give takedowns too much credit. Takedown + damage on the ground / advancing positions should be given credit but a takedown to your opponent wall walking and getting back up shouldn't count for much/anything.

Yeah, i didn't have high hopes for that fight either.

Big card next week though. Diaz vs Condit, remember your tips.

Velasquez, Nelson, Antonio Silva....one or two others too I think. Should be good. I'll be going for JDS. He's a good guy, love his striking. Mir is very articulate and at times can be humble and introspective....other times he seems completely up himself. Do it Junior....best fists in the business!

I liked the Mir vs Minotauro fight a few cards back.

They nearly tapped eachother out, but Mir got the W.
 
I like that people think MIR has a chance against JDS, dont forget that UFC on fox is on tomorrow during the day, Korean Zombie VS Justin Poirier, plus Donald the cowboy Ceroine is fighting as well

Bolded are the fights im looking forward to... Not so much the cody mckenzie fight but l do want to see him finished. Solid card for sure.
 
Cerrone vs Stephens should be good....have to tip Cerrone for sure....but Stephens has got excellent ko power in his fists.
